RAISING VOICES PHOTOGRAPHY
On Thursday 17th February the Raising Voices project delivered an online photography tips and tricks session. This session was led by Simon Bamford, the steering group’s resident photography expert, with support from Adam Gratton (Community Cast) and in the early planning stages from Tony Jones.
The session focussed on providing practical tips and tricks that people could take away with them to help take pictures that can tell a story.
The tips and tricks picked up by those that attended the session were then put into practice as part of a Photowalk from Staffordshire University, through Shelton. This was an opportunity to observe one of our local areas highlighting the hardship that can be seen in it but also seeing the messages of support and unity that were present throughout the community.
The pictures displayed have been voted and selected by the members of the Raising Voices steering group.
